Wow
End fest, yesterday was SO good! Superdeluxe, playing for, from what I can remember, the first time in years, Franz Ferdinand, The Violent Femmes, X, PUSA, Harvy Danger (also playing again,) Psychadelic Furs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Schoolyard Heroes, Muse, wow. All of this in the same weekend that the No Vote Left Behind shows happen! Seattle is good for the rock music, that much is true.
I miss Dianna. She sometimes will go to rock music with me.

Journalistic integrity is a terrible burden
So, I am glad that we have Kitty Kelly! She is more qualified than anyone to write "The Family" than pretty much anyone else on the planet! And she seems, according to this slate article to have found some serious fuckin' dirt.
How 'bout that, eh?

Joey, Dee Dee, and now Johnny
There is only one remaining Ramone, Tommy. Wow. Life is really, really, really sad. They were all alive when I was in college. They were all alive when I was in high school.
And elliott smith is dead. This is how the rest of our lives will be.
