I think movie previews are a great way to become aquainted with new
songs. They are often placed just perfectly to grab your attention,
and serve both the record company, advertising the song somewhere that
many otherwise unreachable people can hear it, and can add to the mood
of the preview insuring a greater attendance when the movie is
release.
Coach Carter's previews all had "Changes" by tupac when the first came
out. The new batch have a cover of "in the air tonight" playing in
the background.
It sounds like it could be Rap Metal!
"You know the song by Phil Collins, "In the Air Tonight"
about that guy who coulda saved that other guy from drowning
but didn't, then Phil saw it all, then at a show he found him?
That's kinda how this is, you coulda rescued me from drowning
Now it's too late - I'm on a 1000 downers now, I'm drowsy"

I have to say, even though this is the only entry of yours that I've read, your (plural?) blog bleeds brilliance. I think it's the pink. Too bad "Coach Carter" is going to be the worst movie since "Finding Forrester," eh?
